ACIDS

The fear

of the boundaries

of vibrant dispossession,

wherein religion intertwines death

with the inherent meaninglessness

of freedom's congested calculations,

looms large.

Stripping away

layers

before the agonizing gaze

of machinic society,

which tantalizingly offers

the dream

entwined with the peril

of ruin,

reveals a stark reality.

Material acids,

prominently present,

civilization in the degenerate sky.

The West quivers,

its disciplined self

ensnared

in the genetic constructs

of the military Other,

sedated by the artificial symbols

of Eternity's manipulation.

Believing in oneself becomes more valuable than learning how to respect others, because belief is immediately legible, visible, and emotionally rewarding, whereas ethical conduct is often slow, opaque, and unrewarded by spectacle.
